Treasurer Office

It is our mission at the Nemaha County Treasurer’s office to serve the public in a courteous, efficient and helpful manner. The Constituents of Nemaha County are our priority.

Duties:

1. To collect all revenues for the County
2. To bill and collect all real estate and personal taxes in the County
3. Title all Motor Vehicles and Boats with situs in the County
4. Register all Motor Vehicles and Boats with situs in the County
5. To issue Driver Licenses, C.D.L.’s, learner permits, I.D. cards, school permits, provisional operator permits, etc.
6. To disburse collections to the proper Political Subdivisions

DMV Services is a Department of the State of Nebraska that is operated by the Treasurer Office.
